Charging Crystals with the Sun

Charging Crystals with the Sun

Charging your crystals is an important process. Crystals contain an energy within their molecular lattice and this energy can grow tired with use and time. There are a number of ways to restore a crystal's energy, such as leaving under moonlight or near selenite. Sunlight is an intensely powerful way to charge crystals, but must be done with care - some crystals will fade in prolonged exposure to sunlight. Let us help you choose which crystals benefit from a sun bath!

Benefits of sunlight charging

Due to the proximity of our nearest star, the sun charges your crystals in a very short time. As little as 30 minutes exposure on your windowsill is plenty! For best results try and get 12 hours of sunlight for your crystals - this will be easiest on the solstice day when we have our longest day of the year! This falls on the 21st June in 2022.

The Sun is associated with vitality and strength, love and abundance and this will be imbued into your crystals. If you want a sense of intensity from your crystals, sun charging is the way to go. For softer energy vibes, keep your crystals away from the sun and wait for a moonlit night to charge them.
